Discussion Groups

On Wednesday, Nov. 5th, we will have our first discussion group. Half of the parents will meet with Connie, in the library, for about 30-40 minutes (until snack). The other half will be Teachers Assistants in assigned areas, watching/playing with the kids.

Before we can begin these discussion groups, we need to decide how the parent groups will be split up. Julie, our Parent Coordinator, will be working on assigning groups and coordinating the schedule. There are a few different options to split the groups:

• Split by age: parents of the older 9 JW kids in one group, and the younger 9 JW kids in the other group.
• Split by sibling status: have kids with siblings in one group and kids without in the other.
• Split random by drawing names out of a hat, or a pumpkin, or a voting booth, etc.

At Monday's Parent Meeting, we'll discuss and decide on the final plan. Julie will compile the roster for the following two weeks.
